Back to Malaysia to witness the giants at play. No dodgy bus trip this time. Instead good fun, good friends and good beer !

Sepang Circuit is beside KL International Airport. A custom built F1 circuit, it first appeared on the calendar in 1999. Most noticeable feature is a double sided grandstand in the centre of the circuit. This was on Saturday Qualifying, so not exactly packed. It did get busier on Sunday Raceday, but due to some scheduling disaster, the Sunday was also the Malaysian National Election Day, so the circuit wasn't nearly full.

We stayed in KL so of course there has to be pictures of the Petronas Towers!

Mouse over to change from day to night.

Pit Babes !
Pit Hunks !

It's far too difficult trying to take pictures of the cars when they're on the track. Best is to take a trip around the trade stands and take pictures there !

On to the race proper.....

There were highs and lows.....

This gentlemen did well (ie he stayed on the track and finished 6th)

This gentlemen didn't do too well (ie he started in 2nd gear, had a puncture, then spun off)

Luckily no one was crazy enough to support him !

Don't ask who won !
